December always arrives faster than the rest of the year, specially when you grow up. When you're a child, it's like Christmas lasts a whole month, it never ends. When you're an adult, you just have a couple of days to do all your presents, and hop... Christmas Eve and the rest of it are done.

You just had the extra time you needed to make some hand-made gift cards.

Next, you have New Year's Eve and like the past events, the party goes so fast you just don't have the time to realize that a year has passed and a new one is beginning.

To slow down a little bit, you take the time to cook and for the occasion, try a recipe of a book which somebody offered you.

And to end up this super fast period, as it concerns me, my birthday arrives 3 days after the New Year's Eve. And this time, I just turned 30.

3 of my beloved ones organised me a surprise party. I just had a wonderful time and a wonderful gift. I've been worried about this moment, particularly when you celebrate your 30th birthday, that represents a turning point somewhere in your life ; besides when everybody tells you that the best years are to come.
This special moment made me realize that I have all that matters in life - among friendship, love, trust - and I have to remember it when it will not be ok at work or something else. This special moment has to help me relativize and I'll have to hang on to it every time I'll feel the need.
